Single Aged Woman Needs Financial Help

"Hello..........I am a middle age woman who lost my job over a year ago with only 9 years to go to retirement. Since that time I have diligently searched and applied for hundreds of jobs with no succession of landing one and am beginning to believe that my age is a huge factor, but that will not deter me from continuing to search and be optimistic for the future.

However my dilemma is now, financially as I've almost depleted all my savings to keep afloat but that is vastly coming to an end and I need financial help to get me through this tough time. I am reaching out to anyone willing to help me with any amount of donation you are willing to give. I am doing everything in my power to save my home and I am asking for your help. From the bottom of my heart I thank each and every person willing to help me in this very trying time of my life. This is one of the hardest things in life I've had to do.

Donations can be made via paypal..............helpmygoal@hotmail.com"

Newly Married Woman hasn't had the chance to enjoy any bit of being married to Husband

"

I'm a newly married woman who hasn't had the chance to enjoy any bit of being married to the man of my dreams due to everything hitting us all at once. Before getting married, me and my husband had a long distant relationship for over five years, him living in Pennsylvania and myself living in Georgia. When we had finally had the chance to get married and be together, we were so excited and couldn't wait to take advantage of the opportunity.

Due to me wanting to go back to school to finish my degree, we decided that he would move to Georgia for a year. One month before we were to be married, I moved closer to my collage, set up the home as best I could on a limited budget (we have the bear necessities with our only piece of furniture being an air mattress that has seen better days), and started preparing for school that starts in June. Things were going great and we had money saved up enough to last us for two months, time enough for him to find a job here, as well as me working from home making at least enough to pay the bills.

Then two weeks before I was to move my family was hit with a lot all at once. My grandmother died two Fridays before my move date, my cousin was murdered the Saturday after that, my mother lost her job the Monday after that, my sister found out she had stage four cancer that Wednesday, and my uncle found out he had cancer the following Monday. Then two weeks before we were to be married, two weeks after moving,I lost my job due to company restructuring which drastically cut our funds. After he moved down here, the job that he had lined up fell through and no other leads had/have yet called back. Just last week we found out that my mother-in-law's cancer came back at stage four, and she has been given three months to see rather or not she is going to live or die. Needless to say our savings ran out way before we had planned and neither one of us have anyone else to turn to.

We are on the verge of all of our utilities being disconnected and kicked out of our home. I have been applying for more jobs, but with our phone on the verge of getting turned off, I may not hear back from them. We are in desperate need of help just to get through this month. I am the type of person that would give my last cent to help any one in need. I don't know what else to do other than to beg for help myself. We do not qualify for any type of help due to not having a child. All of the charity organizations are either not accepting any more applications or are out of funds. To make it through this month we need $3000 JUST to pay the bills. This includes rent, gas, water, electric, car, insurance, and phone bills. I'm all out of options at this point and am begging for any type of help that I can get.

Thank you for taking the time to read my plea. Any and all help will be appreciated. We only have til tomorrow afternoon (6/10/14) to come up with the funds that we need. Please help us.

I am sorry I forgot to include my paypal email address: hersheyxoxo@hotmail.com

Stephen would like to receive some help from this story's readers

Find a way to help this young man.

Dear Sir/Madam:

My name is J. Stephen; I am 29 years old ; I am from Brooklyn ,NY . I am writing to you in need of financial help regarding my life's hardships. Before, I begin explaining my situation, allow me to reveal my past endeavors to you, for what continues to hurt me physically, mentally and emotionally till this day. My parents have three children ,and I being the eldest meant lots of responsibilities. My parents and I were very close, we did a lot as a family. I used to watch my father play basketball. When I was four years of age he started to teach me how to play basketball and that's when I fell in love with the game, and became determined to become a professional basketball player. My father was my greatest hero. I can also say that my favorite star was Michael Jordan; watching him play added a spark to my dream, and showing me that I should never give up on pursuing my dreams.

As time moved on, looking up to my dad as my hero, he became verbally and physically abusive at times to my mother and I. On every altercation between my parents, there were verbal and physical fights amongst them, which made me cry a lot. When I was five, I saw my parents go through an ugly divorce; It was very difficult for me to witness because my father was my hero. My relationship with my father went downhill from there. My grandfather had stepped in as a father figure in my life; we were very close but when he passed away there was a void in my life. My grandfather believed in my dreams, so that pushed me to continue working on accomplishing my basketball career. After, spending so much time with my Grandfather, he died right in front of me; He was 77 years old and died of heart failure. At that time I felt lost and empty, that the only person that believed, cheered me on about my dreams, was not there anymore. My mother could not sustain our apartment alone after my father had left the family, so my mom, sister, brother and I moved around from house to house for shelter. My mom struggled on her own to provide for all of us, she had no choice but to seek shelter for us with several family members. As a result of living with several family members, I was molested by two of my cousins, both male and female; which lasted up to five years. I did not have the heart to tell my mother at first because we did not have a good relationship once my father left, so I kept everything in. That defilement came to a halt when I watched a video of a man who died of aids because he was homosexual. I was so scared after watching it because, I thought I was going to die due to what was happening to me. I finally had the heart to tell my mom about the molestation that was being done to me. It broke her heart to shreds regarding the news, but she knew from then on, that she was going to work hard to find our own home to keep us safe. There have been times where my family and I do not have any food to eat. If it was not for God watching over us, we would not have made it through.

During those crucial childhood events; being molested, also bullied at school and being mistreated by my father; out of all the events the one that was really damaging was being repeatedly molested by my relatives. For many years, I was mentally and emotionally messed up; and had low self-esteem. I was seeing a psychologist when I was 13 years old to help cope with everything I was dealing with at that time.

After Junior high school I attended Randolph High school in Massachusetts, where I was living with my aunt and uncle. During the beginning part of my high school years I tried to make the basketball team but was unable to make the team because my skill level was not up to par yet .I practiced really hard and finally made the team from my junior to senior year. During those two years I started to feel pain in my back but could not figure out why I was having pain, but I continued to play. After graduating from high school, I attended Saint John’s University back home in New York. I chose this school because I wanted to study sports medicine and play basketball. Things started to get difficult for me ; my back would get stiff at times and I could not move. There were days where I was not able to function in doing certain daily activities. I had decided to visit my primary care doctor, who inquired that I must have a lumbar procedure done due to chronic back problems and stiffness. After the minor procedure , I noticed that it was not a success because I was still in pain, and stiff. After, dealing with the procedure, I was forced to work because of the loans I had to take out to pay for school and with every school in order to continue with school , the bills have to get paid. I worked a lot of dead end jobs while attending college and chasing my dreams and providing for my family; I even started to build my own websites online to try and receive some lucrative income. I only could do so much until it became physically and mentally tough for me; it affected my grades, and I had no choice but to drop out from school because of financial issues. Because of these hefty loans that I have and not being able to pay them off, I am not able go back and finish school. Finishing school is something that I want to do and accomplish.

All that I ever wanted to do was to love God, my family, become a professional basketball player and help people around the world who have similar hardships in life. I still want to live and truly experience my life long dream, but it would take money to make my dreams become a reality. After, visiting several doctors and taking several MRI's of my back, no doctors could diagnose exactly is wrong with my back. While visiting the doctors though I had asked questions about the type of treatment I would need; across the board they all mentioned that I would need extensive physical therapy to repair my body. With all that said insurances only could cover some physical therapy, so I looked into how much these extensive therapies would cost and it comes to around $100,000 . This is the main reason why I am sending this letter to you is because I know that you have a good heart in helping others. All that I am asking from you is a contribution no higher than $10,000. With this amount your contribution would begin to help me get my body to its proper condition with the appropriate physical therapy treatments. It can also help me to try and get back to school and also chase my basketball dream. In possibly achieving my dreams I would be able to help others in paving a roadway to become anything in life, by providing them the essential skills and give them the opportunity that was giving to me, by you. In giving me this opportunity this will become a living testimony of my struggles by proving that it's not too late to accomplish your dreams. You have the opportunity to give a person a chance to succeed, would you please help? Your donations would be greatly appreciative and will make a huge difference in my life, and hopefully the lives of others.

I believe that there is a purpose that God wants me to write a letter to you. Until this very day, I still don't know why he wants me to do it, but God always tells us to do unordinary things in order for His glory to be magnified, and for us to be blessed. I trust him and believe that he will deliver me out from my struggles, and finally have peace in my life. It means a lot to me that you took the time to show a sympathetic heart regarding my life, I thank you. If you would like to get in contact with me, regarding questions, comments, and donations please use the above email address or contact me on my cell phone, (347) 244-0543. I look forward to hearing from you, for I believe that God can make all things possible, by asking people in all walks of life to make a difference for other people who have nothing.

May God bless you abundantly on your act of kindness.

Please find a way to help this man and his mother:

"We need help with to pay bills and buy groceries. We Have No Food and any donation would help. I'm not able to work so all I have is Social Assistance for primary income. My mother's power Bill is well over $1000 Dollars. and we are making the payment every month but it could still be turned off at any time. I live with my Mother and Brother and we each have an income but it is not enough to live on. My mom is a 70 yr old senior, who needs serious dental work but can not afford it. Her husband, my father, passed away 3 years ago, and we lost a lot of money coming in from his pensions. I myself was diagnosed with CML on October 7, 2013 and have had to be placed on medication that costs $4500.00 per month. My mom recently bought a reliable car so I could get back and fourth to Halifax Nova Scotia for my cancer appointments and we are struggling just to get by and starving in the mean time. Any and all help would be very much appreciated to help us get groceries and pay off some of our bills. We even had to shave a little bit of money off our car payment just to help get by. Thanks everyone for your help!

South African Family Fell on Hard Times

Please find a way to help this South African family who fell on hard financial times.

"Hi

We are a South African family who fell on hard times 1 year ago, when my husbands business went bankrupt. In an effort to get out of our financial difficulty myself and my husband accepted a 2 year contract as expats in West Africa. Taking these positions would have enabled us to pay our debt monthly, keep our house in South Africa and at least be able to live as well. After 6 months in West Africa our company informed us that they can no longer afford expats and that we have to return to South Africa immediately. We returned to South Africa, now we were both unemployed. In the 6 months that we have been back we had to sell our house and are currently living with our parents. Our 4 school going children are in school, but we haven't been able to pay their school fees for the last 3 months, and we are now completely broke. My husband and myself have been frantically looking for employment, he is a sales manager and I am a project manager. He managed to find work in a retail store, he started working there on Monday, but the money is very little. I have been sending out my CV for work for the past 6 months and haven't even been able to secure an interview, although I have the qualifications and experience required. We are in desperate need of financial assistance to catch up on school fees, buy food and clothes for the children, and perhaps try and catch up on some outstanding debt. We are also willing to live and work anywhere in the world if it means we will be able to provide for our children. If anyone out there can assist us, either financially or with work, please send me an email to familyinneed6@gmail.com.

Australian Woman Needs Financial assistance after Fiance Walked out on Her

Please help this woman get back on her feet. "Hello, I'm really embarrassed that I have had to resort to this, but I'm desperately in need of financial assistance. I live in Australia, am a 51 year old female and had to resign from my part time job earlier this year due to health problems (fibromyalgia and a lower back condition). At the time I was living with my fiancé so financially we were ok. We were meant to be getting married on November 22 this year. I bought things for the wedding and everything was booked. My fiancé, who was an alcoholic, walked out 3 weeks before the wedding, leaving me with no income and struggling to pay the rent. I now have my 21 year old daughter living with me after her relationship broke down and she is pregnant. The small amount of money I get from Centrelink barely covers my rent. My daughter does have a part time job, but the pay is not great and she helps out with rent and food as best she can, barely enough for us to survive. I have been searching for work, but in the small country town where I live, jobs are very few and far between. I've had to borrow from friends and family just to keep a roof over our head, let alone pay electricity, water etc, which are getting further and further behind and no way to pay them. My ex fiancé has offered no help, and I have no one else to go to for money. Please, any help would be so much appreciated, to help with utility bills and catch up on rent. Hopefully, I will find a job soon. Thank you.

Help needed for Loan Repayment - Students Need your help now

Please find a way to help these students.

Hello, I wanted to send this to ask for help for my daughters, as I am not in financial shape to help them. Neither one of them know I am asking. My oldest daughter is supposed to be paying back student loans for $105 per month starting in March 2015. She has not been able to take her certification exams yet, which she cannot get hired in her field until she takes these. Her first exam is scheduled 3-18, and she has to pass the first exam before scheduling the second. So she needs help for the first two months of student loan repayment. She is a single mom. Her email for PayPal is : gogglegirlbutterfly@hotmail.com. Then my youngest daughter started culinary school but was not able to finish due to an unexpected but terrifying occurrence that happened while away at college. The department of education still expects her to repay the student loan money even though she suffers from PTSD and is not able to work or go back to school. She owes over $3,500. If you can help with this, please send it to her sister's paypal listed above with an email telling which one you are helping, so that the money can be sent to pay for the one you donated to help. Thank you so much, any and all donations are so much appreciated! God bless you.

Help Needed: Student wants your assistance

Find a way to help this student in the Philippines. Read his story

"I am currently living in the Philippines in an average family. We can pay basic bills like electricity and water. I am still a student at a very cheap college. We came to a very big obstacle lately. My parents lost their job, my father got sick. There were blood clots all over his body and should be treated immediately. We would have taken quick actions but unfortunately we can't afford the medications and services. The hospital wouldn't accept even if we begged. I am working part time as a student but this is really not enough, not to mention other bills and needs we have to cover. Also, we used our remaining money for some of the medical bills so probably I can't go to school next semester. I am hoping to go finish my studies even by next semester or even by next year if given the chance.

Last Monday I got a very lucky break as some guy offered me a translation job for $200 and I quickly accepted it. I finished the job but he has not payed yet. I am hoping to get the payment asap so we can pay part of the bills ($1450 total). It has been two (2) weeks since my father got hospitalized. He is unable to move.

I would like to request a help from you, kind people. We will be truly grateful if you can help us even by half ($500) or even by just a tiny amount will do. And it will be surely a great help if you make it $1000 and we will cover the remaining balance and other things. We are in desperate need of help. I am at the hospital as of this writing. God bless you, whoever you are who will help us. I am currently finding a new part time job so I can help buy our necessities and other things.

Connecting Dirt Poor People or People in Need with Millionaires, Billionaires and Philanthropists through Good Causes and real Stories of Needs

Millionaires, Billionaires and Philanthropists become role models in the charitable world.

If Warren Buffett and Bill Gates could do give to charitable organizations and individuals with a good cause, so can you. Traveling to India and other countries with lots of poor people, Warren Buffett and Bill Gates stated that we have to give more money. Bill and Melinda Gates intend to eradicate Polio. They have given lots of money to responsible organizations that are fighting this disease. Yet, in a recent interview, he said that he has no need for money. He uses money as a tool to work on projects that can make a difference in millions of people. He and his wife have agreed to improve the quality of life of those less fortunate than themselves. They were lucky to amass all that money. Through well-calculated charity, they are willing to give some of this money back. By doing so, they want to extend others’ life. In an interview, he said, “I’m certainly well taken care of in terms of food and clothes,” he says, redundantly. “Money has no utility to me beyond a certain point. Its utility is entirely in building an organisation and getting the resources out to the poorest in the world.”

Ecotourism Worker Got a Stroke, Could no longer Work in the Tourism Industry in the Caribbean

Please reach out to this family who needs your help. Read this heart-breaking story of needs submitted by the father.

"My Family and I REALLY need help!

I am a proud father of a 10-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl also living with my wife. On January I had a stroke and since then, I’m not able to work and won’t be for the next 3 months at least. I was working for the same company for the past 10 years and they let me go in December 2014. I didn’t really care ‘cause I know I’m a hard worker and I know I was gonna find a job easily but I didn’t plan this;

See, I was living on an Island in the Caribbean working in tourism and after losing my job I decided to go to my country (Canada) and start over again with my little family. So, my family and I went at my mom’s house and I started to look for a job and was fortunate enough to have found one on the same day I fell sick! The big problem is that we are still here at my mom’s house (We are all currently sleeping on a sofa-bed in the living room...) ‘cause I cannot work and won’t be able to for the next 3 months at least…

I really need money to get out of here because my mom is really old and cannot handle my children anymore! I need money to get an apartment and buy stuffs like beds, glasses etc. and be able to provide for my family again… At least for the next three months while I recover!!!

Anything would be appreciated. THANKS!!!

Millionaires Who Give Money Away, Billionaires Who Give Money Away: They Found the Joy of Giving

Oprah Winfrey who grew up without money ended up working hard to make her money. In the end, she wants to give back a huge chunk of it. She is giving most of her wealth through the three charities she runs: The Oprah Winfrey Foundation, Oprah Winfrey’s Angel Network and The Oprah Winfrey Operating Foundation. Oprah distributed more than $40 million to 40 organizations with a lot of focus on Africa. Oprah's Operating Foundation funded the Leadership Academy in South Africa. Oprah Winfrey gives money to both African Americans and caucasian families. She has a very soft spot for people. She also gives to State Universities such as Morehouse College. She also gives $5 million to Boys and Girls Club. Oprah gave $1 million to the Dream Academy a few years ago.

How about Bill and Melinda Gates? How do they give their money?

They give their money through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Guided by the belief that every life has equal value, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation works to help all people lead healthy, productive lives.

In 2003, William Henry "Bill" Gates had already given whopping $28 Bn to eradicate polio. There is no doubt he is a rich man. But he is using his massive wealth to do good things around the world. "Bill is now engaged in the process of ridding himself of all that money in the hope of extending the lives of others less fortunate than himself." wrote the reporter. Later on, Bill Gates added the following: “I’m certainly well taken care of in terms of food and clothes,” he says, redundantly. “Money has no utility to me beyond a certain point. Its utility is entirely in building an organisation and getting the resources out to the poorest in the world.”

We pitch your story of needs to Donors -- What Do Rich People Do? Super Rich People who give money away

Millionaires, Billionaires and philanthropists who give money away. They have realized that they cannot live on that massive wealth when the rest of humanity cannot eat or cannot afford proper healthcare. They are making a pledge to give half of their wealth to people who need the money for all other needs.

Story Media Companies (SMC)wants you to tell your story of needs to the millionaires, billionaires, and philanthropists who are looking for good causes to give their money to. Your story may end up being one of those causes.

A philanthropist is a person who seeks to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes. Most millionaires and Billionaires are quiet philanthropists and good-doers. But they want to know about a good cause. Your stories may end up being one of the causes they want to fund. A philanthropist is someone who engages in philanthropy ; that is, someone who donates his or her time, money, and/or reputation to charitable causes.
