"Hi
We are a South African family who fell on hard times 1 year ago, when my husbands business went bankrupt. In an effort to get out of our financial difficulty myself and my husband accepted a 2 year contract as expats in West Africa. Taking these positions would have enabled us to pay our debt monthly, keep our house in South Africa and at least be able to live as well. After 6 months in West Africa our company informed us that they can no longer afford expats and that we have to return to South Africa immediately. We returned to South Africa, now we were both unemployed. In the 6 months that we have been back we had to sell our house and are currently living with our parents. Our 4 school going children are in school, but we haven't been able to pay their school fees for the last 3 months, and we are now completely broke. My husband and myself have been frantically looking for employment, he is a sales manager and I am a project manager. He managed to find work in a retail store, he started working there on Monday, but the money is very little. I have been sending out my CV for work for the past 6 months and haven't even been able to secure an interview, although I have the qualifications and experience required. We are in desperate need of financial assistance to catch up on school fees, buy food and clothes for the children, and perhaps try and catch up on some outstanding debt. We are also willing to live and work anywhere in the world if it means we will be able to provide for our children. If anyone out there can assist us, either financially or with work, please send me an email to familyinneed6@gmail.com.
Regards
Desperate mother
